Elderhood, The Third Act of Life

In youth we chase the morning sun,
In middle years, we build and run.
But in the twilight, calm and wise,
We see the world through seasoned eyes.

No longer rushed, no need to prove,
We walk with grace, we speak to soothe.
The lines upon our face, a map,
Of battles fought and wisdom tapped.

This is the time of stories told,
Of hearts grown deep, of hands grown old.
Yet in this age, we shine anew,
With truths to share, with skies still blue.

So let the wrinkles wear their crown,
For Elderhood shall not back down.
It stands with pride, with love unfurled,
The final gift we give the world.

This is the Third Act,

Not an ending, but a legacy.
