Why I Created Wisdom Wears Wrinkles
There is something deeply grounding about sitting with someone who has lived a long life and simply listening.
I have always admired older people. Not just for their resilience or the eras they have lived through, but for the quiet wisdom they carry. Their stories, their values, their perspectives, these are treasures that often go unheard in a world that moves too fast and too loud.
That is why I created Wisdom Wears Wrinkles.
This podcast is my way of honouring the older generation. It is a space where retired individuals, grandparents, former professionals, quiet achievers, can share their life lessons, reflections, and advice.
Not as experts in any one field, but as experts in life.
I believe we lose something vital when we stop listening to those who came before us. Their experiences are rich with insight, and their voices deserve to be heard, not just in family circles, but in public conversations.
Whether it is a story about overcoming hardship, a lesson learned too late, or a simple truth that has stood the test of time, these moments matter.
Wisdom Wears Wrinkles is about capturing those moments. It is about slowing down, tuning in, and learning from the people who have walked the long road before us.
I will be hosting these conversations remotely to begin with, making it easy for guests to join from the comfort of their homes. Eventually, I hope to move into a studio setting, but for now, the priority is connection, not production.
If you have ever felt that older voices are fading into the background, this podcast is for you. If you have ever wished you could sit down with your grandparents one more time and ask them everything you never got around to, this podcast is for you.
Because wisdom doesn’t shout, it whispers. And it wears wrinkles.
Information is knowledge and knowledge gained over time is wisdom.
